About the event
In this class you will learn that the effectiveness of your memoir depends on the way you use words, formed over time by your reading, writing, and speaking: Exactness. Colorfulness. Originality. Through rewriting and reading aloud, you will have the opportunity to increase the strength of your writing by focusing on these three concepts.
Writers often fail to use all five senses when they write and tend to underuse and even mistrust their own imagination. In "Living Your Memoir" you’ll also learn to incorporate all your senses as well as the fruits of your fearless imagination.
And finally, in addition to writing exact, colorful, and original narrative, you will increase the dynamism of your writing by creating scenes for your characters and imagining their dialogue.
